A visit to the Deutschlandmuseum provides the perfect introduction to the full sweep of German history and thereby constitutes the ideal accompaniment for school history lessons with the history of the German nation and thus constitutes the ideal accompaniment for school history lessons. Give your students the opportunity to learn about the past through an interactive, immersive experience. In our first year of operation, the Deutschlandmuseum became the first German recipient of the prestigious THEA Award, in acknowledgement of our unique approach to historical story-telling. Our exhibition was also voted Europe’s leading new attraction in 2024.

Services for schools
Working with history teachers, we designed our exhibition to provide an accessible, immersive experience that enables classes to absorb an overview of German history through independent exploration. This can be supplemented by a guided tour tailored to the school curriculum.

How much does a group tour of the museum cost?
The interactive Discovery Tour for school classes costs only €40 per class. Overview tours (up to 15 people) cost €75 for students. All prices are in addition to the entrance fee.
What grade level are the tours suitable for?
We recommend our discovery tour or visit without a guide from year 5 and the overview tour from year 9.
